Commercial client project · Bulgaria

From marketplace listings to an independent ecommerce storefront.

Forest Tales needed more than another sales listing. The project created an owned brand platform with a product catalogue, ordering workflow, bilingual publishing and room to grow across European channels.

The business challenge

Build an owned sales foundation from scattered marketplace content.

The products were already represented through public marketplace listings and social channels. What was missing was a coherent destination the business could control: its own identity, catalogue, customer communication and publishing workflow.

  • Create trust beyond a marketplace seller profile
  • Bring outdoor and home-comfort products into one brand system
  • Accept orders without forcing a complex payment launch
  • Publish in Bulgarian and English
  • Leave the owner with manageable tools and documented workflows

Before and after

From a single listing to an owned customer experience.

The original product references informed the catalogue and AI-assisted visual direction. The result is a distinct storefront rather than a copy of the marketplace presentation.

Useful for product discovery, but the brand, navigation and customer relationship remain inside a third-party platform.

Product-level transformation

Reference product. Branded visual. Shoppable page.

The original sofa geometry was used as a reference for an AI-assisted lifestyle image, then implemented inside a complete WooCommerce product experience.

Delivered scope

A usable store, not an empty installation.

The project combined brand, content and technical delivery so a non-technical owner could continue operating the catalogue.

01

Brand and content system

Visual direction, information architecture, product presentation and AI-assisted imagery prepared from client references.

02

Custom WooCommerce theme

Responsive storefront, category navigation, product cards, custom catalogue templates and a cohesive design language.

03

Order communication

Cart and checkout without online payment, store notifications, customer confirmation emails and domain mail delivery.

04

Bilingual publishing

Bulgarian and English navigation, catalogue content, information pages and store interface.

05

Trust and discoverability

Delivery and returns content, privacy pages, cookie consent, form validation, sitemap and social-sharing previews.

06

Owner handover

Administrative access and a dedicated NotebookLM knowledge base for products, prices, images, orders and translations.

How the work moved

Prototype first. Scope second. Production with written feedback.

  1. 01

    Working prototype

A test store made the structure and shopping experience concrete before production.

  2. 02

    Practical launch scope

The initial plan was reduced to match the available launch budget while preserving the ecommerce foundation.

  3. 03

    Client review

Header, language controls, forms, mobile behavior, email delivery, indexing and checkout were revised from a written review.

  4. 04

    Launch and support

The store went live on the client domain, was accepted, and remained supported after handover.

After launch

Support included solving the problems nobody plans for.

When a hosting-installed plugin later caused a blank site, the fault was isolated, the conflicting and unnecessary plugins were backed up and removed, and the complete storefront was restored without losing its catalogue or pages.

Verified delivery

  • Independent store live on the client domain
  • Bulgarian and English storefronts published
  • Catalogue, cart and email order flow operating
  • Client review completed and project accepted
  • Post-launch incident diagnosed and recovered
No revenue, traffic, ranking or conversion claims are made because client analytics were not part of the verified case material.
